PATRICIA BEAUCHAMP AFADÉ
Scientific coordinator, scientific manager: Patricia Beauchamp Afadé has a
Master in International Relations in France. Her first professional experiences
were in Spain, in the Caribbean and Africa. She has developed a strong
experience in project management. She worked for 11 years for Les Anneaux
de la Mémoire, where she has gained a solid knowledge of the global and local
history of the European trade of enslaved people and colonial slavery. She
worked on various projects on this very sensitive history with partners in Europe,
in Africa, in the Americas and in the Caribbean, and especially coordinated the
scientific component of some of these projects. She also curated historical and
artistic exhibitions.
