MANIFEST Artists Reunite
MANIFEST Artists Reunite at Scopitone and Nantes Digital Week
Project MANIFEST has some exciting news to share from the recent inauguration of the Scopitone electronic festival and the Nantes Digital Week. Our project partner, Barbara Chiron from Les Anneaux de la Mémoire, attended this event and met some of the MANIFEST artists, including David Gumbs, Magalie Mobetie, and Albert Morisseau Leroy from the “Collectif On a Slamé Sur La Lune.”

Magalie Mobetie’s art project, titled “Anba té, adan kò,” was one of the highlights of the festival, alongside other captivating art projects. Magalie had a remarkable opportunity to engage with the Mayor of Nantes, Johanna Rolland, showcasing the power of art in bridging connections and fostering dialogue. Barbara also had the chance to speak with a deputy about the MANIFEST project itself. This unexpected encounter further demonstrates the project’s growing impact and reach, as well as its ability to spark meaningful conversations in unexpected places.

The connection among MANIFEST artists extends far beyond the project’s formal boundaries, highlighting the organic and impactful relationships that emerge from the world of art. Project MANIFEST brings people together and stimulates discussions on crucial topics.

A big thank you to Barbara Chiron for sharing these photographs and for representing MANIFEST. These chance encounters remind us of the boundless power of art.
